2. What is the difference between a hydrocarbon (such as ethane) and an alcohol (such as ethanol)?
Hydrocarbon doesn't cause car crashes.

technically hydrocarbons do cause car accidents because without them the car cant drive and alcohol does not drive cars unless it is e85 of course
