Detention Slip Week: All your base

Nature of Problem: Disruptive behavior in class. Constantly yelling "All you base belong to us". When asked to stop he would ignore my request. He is guilty of insubordination. Recommendation of at least 3 days of out of school suspention.


3 day suspension seems a little harsh to me for quoting a video game.

Description of what happened: While involved in an elimination basketball game with Mr. Edward's class, Brandon grabbed his crotch as if to say "right here" to some of Mr. Edwards students.

Response: Conference w/ Principal. Detention assigned



Does implying "right here" in a basketball game mean throw the ball at my crotch? What does that even mean? Also, maybe his nuts were itchy or he needed to 'reposition'? Did you think about that? Either way, the report of what happened is way funnier than the actual event itself.

Comments: after a student said "can it be that big" his comment was "that's what she said". These inappropriate comments are made too often.

It's kind of ironic that this student was sent to the office for saying a statement popularized by the TV show The Office. I guess the teacher doesn't have a sense of humor.
